US / THEM: Fang Island announce headlining North American tour dates in November, limited edition 7" and new free MP3

In what has been a year of nearly constant touring, Fang Island again hits the road in November for a stretch of North American headlining dates. The Brooklyn quintet previously toured supporting The Flaming Lips, Stone Temple Pilots, Matt & Kim, Coheed and Cambria, and Red Sparowes as well as headlining dates in Europe. The upcoming headlining dates are with Delicate Steve, who recently signed to David Byrne's Luaka Bop label. Please see below for complete dates.

Fang Island will also release a limited edition four-song 7" single for the tour featuring a song with special guest Andrew WK. Pitchfork has posted an exclusive download/stream of the song, "Patterns On The Wall" which will also be available via Amazon. The track was written by Joe Buzzell, who also sings on the recording. Pitchfork also recently premiered the quintet's latest video, "Careful Crossers" which was shot in Los Angeles in the storied Glassroom at Sargent House. This marks the band's third video to debut on the popular web site which previously featured videos for "Daisy" and "Life Coach".
